He completed a residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbus Children’s Hospital (now Nationwide Children’s Hospital) in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Kim also received a Master of Science degree in dentistry from The Ohio State University. Dr. Kim has taught at Washington University School of Dental Medicine as a full time instructor for 5 years while maintaining a part time private practice. He has been in full time practice for over 20 years. Dr. Kim has extensive experience in taking care of not only healthy children but also children with special needs, such as autism and cerebral palsy and children who are medically compromised, such as cancer and congenital heart disease. Dr. Kim is a member of the medical staff at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis. He is also a member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. Meet Dr. Hahn We are very excited to announce that Emily Hahn, DDS will be joining Dr. Kim at his pediatric dental practice in Hazelwood and Dardenne Prairie. Dr. Emily will also be seeing medically complex children at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Dr. Emily is originally from Troy, IL– just across the river. She attended Marquette University for both undergrad and dental school. Most recently, she completed her pediatric dental residency in Yakima, WA. Emily is a familiar face to Dr. Kim's practice. While completing her undergraduate degree, Emily spent her summers working with Dr. Kim as an assistant.Dr. Kim has mentored Dr. Emily since she was 16 when her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist began. Dr. Emily is committed to creating a dental environment that meets each child’s needs. She is dedicated to creating a fun and enriching experience for your child. In addition to tending to little smiles, Emily is currently preparing for her upcoming wedding in November and enjoying being back home with her friends and family.
